Anywho, I always buy one of those cheap packs of fireworks for the boys to enjoy. We lit them in the street and smiled as the boys giggled and begged for more. Well, Luke got a little scared and eventually ran inside to watch from the front window.

2009, we welcome thee
We spent New Year's Eve at home, as usual. I think the only time we've ever really done the party thing was with the Granberry family from our church back in Birmingham, AL. Of course, that was the first year of our marriage and no children were in the picture yet. Since then, we've just stayed home, enjoyed the children, watched the ball drop in NYC and then let our heads drop on our pillow.
Anywho, I always buy one of those cheap packs of fireworks for the boys to enjoy. We lit them in the street and smiled as the boys giggled and begged for more. Well, Luke got a little scared and eventually ran inside to watch from the front window.
