MeMe gave Andrew an ant farm for Christmas. We wrote a check and sent it off in the mail back in December to request our live ants. The ants arrived last week and the ant farm has been a huge hit. Already, the ants have dug a complete tunnel. They have three more starter holes but don't seem to be in as big a hurry to dig as we are to watch them.

Dalton was given an ant farm last year for Christmas. It was blue instead of the green. Really cool. I loved watching the ants hard at work doing their tunneling. They died after a few months though. Guess they dug themselves to death. Hope yours have a better fate than ours.
This is the coolest thing! I bet my boys would enjoy something like this.
