Abominate prosperity gospel
John Piper explains why the so-called "prosperity gospel" is not the gospel. Yes, it's long but WORTH every minute of it. Let it play while you clean around the house as I'm (trying) to do.

Friend of Blue Hutch, just stopped in for a visit, hope you don't mind!
I agree with this whole heartedly. I know that so many people out there join certain churches because they think it's going to be an easy ride, that this church is "rich" or that the people will take care of me. They are victims of the "prosperity" and not truly converted to Christ and the true descipleship that it is.
