Here are just a few pictures of our last few days together. I like how most of these pictures capture the joy in our children's faces. They loved each other just as much.
My daughter's best friend, "Mackerdoodle". She will be greatly missed and I will miss seeing them hug in delight upon seeing each other. What sweet embraces. So glad that I was able to be a part of your pregnancy journey with that handsome "Cheesedoodle". I wish I could watch him grow up over the next three years.
Their last stop in town: our house. What a precious hour it was! It didn't hit me until our time came to an end that this was the last time I'd lay eyes on you for a while. No longer will I be able to stop by your house whenever I want, see you at church twice a week or so, meet you at Chick-Fil-A, enjoy playgroups together, or come over to your house for dinner. This sounds so sad!
Such sweet friends.
My heart breaks for my daughter, too,
for she's also losing a friend to distance.

Be careful tomorrow as you drive. We will be there next summer to visit, no doubt. Mark a week out for us in June or July, 2011. I'm not kidding.
Didn't I say I wasn't going to type much? *Sniff* Sniff*
