She has proclaimed it all day long - "I'm three! It's my birthday today!". At the end of the day, after she was tucked in bed, I realized that she has been satisfied with hugs, smiles, kisses, and birthday wishes alone. We are saving our gifts, song, and festivities for next week. Today, however, her Daddy took the morning off work to take us where Abigail requested she spend a part of her day: Chuck-E-Cheese and Chick-Fil-A, in that order.Looks like Luke is holding on for dear life.
If you can't beat 'em, do it the easy way, huh? Poor girl...her swing just wasn't strong enough to get the ball over the hump so I told her to get "closer".Look how tall she's getting?!?!?!!? Nothin' like some icedream from Chick-Fil-A!
It's the best!
Posing with Daddy in his favorite eatery. Of course, we finished our day with a few hours of swimming at the grandparent's course as well as delightful meal cooked by my sister-in-law and mother-in-law. Thanks, Meme and Valerie!
We've still got two more celebrations next week - one with each side of the family. I'll post those pics later, promise.
