"BIG BROTHER" is watching

Why do I feel like I'm in trouble?? I followed all the directions and have, in no way, taken advantage of anything. The comment below was left on my recent FB post about my exciting trip to Walmart. I appreciate the coupon agency's high standard but I feel like I'm being spanked. Gosh, nevermind...it's just my "coupon righteousness" I'm venting through.

Thanks for the excitement about the new Check It Out application and all the coupons. Check it Out is dedicated to providing relevant and engaging offers. This is a new application that we launched on Facebook and these coupons are real and were intended to draw attention to the launch of this new application.

All our coupons have quantity limits and are intended to be printed via our Check It Out application on Facebook only, not through copies or .pdf versions. We hope that you will respect this way of using the application and these deals so everyone can continue to benefit from the savings. We are aware that our Facebook link has been posted on many coupon sharing forums and internet sites and hope that you come back and look for more deals in the future. Contact us if you have more questions. Thank you again for your help.

Oh my goodness, I am sorry it came across that way...we are so happy that you are using our new Facebook application. What is worrying us is that it appears someone hacked into our private development system and essentially copied invalid coupons to a .pdf file and posted it to a coupon sharing site. We don't want anyone to be embarassed by trying to use those coupons. We are hoping that nice people like you who want to save money will continue to only use the coupons via the Facebook application and not copies. That way we can continue to find and deliver good savings. Thanks for your help, as we are all really nice folks trying to provide another way for you to save money. We welcome your comments!! customerservice@vyrlmkt.com

Sorry they're doing this to you - people are being stopped all over the country for redeeming these coupons that they printed directly from the Check it Out application on their facebook accounts. Vyrlmrkt screwed up by not setting print limits on their coupons, and now they're crying fraud because they have no way to pay for them all. Unfortunately for them, many people saved emails, screenshots, and everything else that prove that they assured us these were valid coupons, and to "share them with our friends and families". There was no hacking - the coupons were readily available on the site with no changing of numbers or anything in the address. Lack of foresight on their part does not constitute fraud on ours.

Although vyrl mkt may not have carefully planned to put print limits on the coupons they put up online, they cannot just wiggle out of responsibility in paying retailers for all the internet printables that have been redeemed at various retailers. For those who took advantage and printed hundreds, if not thousands of pages of those coupons (we're not talking here of those in pdf format) confident with the reasoning there was no print limit to start with, I still can't fathom how they can go back to the stores with fingers pointing to vyrl mkt as the source. Its not vyrl mkt's fault that people are greedy. As far as retailers are concerned, if they don't contact the retailer and show concern that they used fraudulent coupons (unintentionally) and instead just pass all the blame to vyrl mkt while enjoying their "loot", I'm sorry to say but they are also to blame. My 02 cents.
