I was exposed to the newer arrangement of this hymn after becoming a Presbyterian but I love the original version and think no one sings it better than David Phelps.
Here's the arrangement I first heard, learned, and still sing in church to this day (by Indelible Grace, Matthew Smith).
Is that Jonathan playing the drums on the Indelible Grace version? :-)
ReplyDeleteI sang this song a couple of weeks ago at church and our pianist played it beautifully! i started crying about halfway through though! it is so beautiful!
